Our Destination Wish List
Our home is situated in a little village on the middle of the island Als, it is a nice and quiet village, behind our home is there a big playground and sport area.
The nature is close by, you can easy walk to the highest point on Als. From Høgebjerg is there a fine view over the sea to Fyn, Ærø, Jylland (Dybbøl) and many places on Als, including our village.
The City Augustenborg is a old duke city, the castle is a fine monument for this period.
Als is a good place to go walking, go by bicycle etc. there are many small roads and paths, with almost no traffic. The country side is friendly with small hills, fields, forest and a lot of water ready to use for sailing, fishing and bathing.
If you go for a walk along the coast of Als, should you be able to find at least 5 lighthouses + those you can see over the sea.
Danfoss Universe Denmark's first experience park crammed with live natural phenomena, interesting technology and fun-filled activities. See more here: www.danfossuniverse.com
From Fynshav harbour is there direct ferry connection to both Fyn and Ærø. The Island Ærø is very good for a bicycle trip.
