Our Neighbourhood

At 7000 ft. altitude, enjoy sunny days and very cool nights. Sunsets are stunning! We also have  hundreds of locally owned restaurants using local produce, cheeses, mushrooms, wines and meats. During the summer, attend the Santa Fe Opera, the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, and nightly free concerts on the Plaza.  You will find countless hikes both in town and further afield, ancient ruins, native-Indian pueblos and artwork, river rafting/fishing, golf, museums and numerous cultural events.  We are a short bike ride or a 15 minute walk to the Farmers' Market and the art galleries, shown in these photos.  St. Johns College, the Santa Fe Institute, and other, offer free lectures to the public.
Consider Santa Fe in the winter, with unlimited free cross country skiing and showshoeing within minutes of our home.  Ski Santa Fe, an alpine ski area, is only 14 miles away, and the world-reknowned Taos Ski Valley is only a 2 hour drive from our home.
