Flat in San Francisco, USA

Wonderful Large Flat in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco---the sunny part of The City!  A residential area of Victorian marina style flats and homes with a few more modern in the mix.

Our flat has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The living room is large with a fireplace and baby grand piano. There is a formal dining room just off the remodeled kitchen. The bathroom has also been remodeled with a claw-footed tup and separate shower. Public transportation a block away.  Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping.  All the attractions of San Francisco are at hand; from art museums, parks, music and opera, night life (high and low) to just taking it easy in The City strolling along the Embarcadero, through Golden Gate Park or over the Golden Gate Bridge.

San Francisco is one of the best food cities in the world.  You can go from the inexpensive "bargain bites" to the very chic and top rated restaurants in the country, some even within walking distance.

The City's skyline and architecture is changing, from Victorian to modern with the new De Young Museum, newly reopened Academy of Science, SFMOMA, and the Asian Art Museum.  There is the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony SF Jazz and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music all in the Civic Center for all types of cultural performances. There are numerous Theaters for plays and musicals as well as many very diverse Museums. Then there is the fascinating history of  San Francisco from the Gold Rush days to the present. You can visit the coast both north and south of The City, wine country and mountains, all from San Francisco for day trips.

San Fracisco is one of the loveliest Citys to visit.  There is always something that will interest you.

Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: San Francisco International, SFO - About 15-20 minute ride to our house

We live in the San FrNCISCO residential neighborhood of Noe Valley, the sunny part of The City. It has become very popular with people who work done the Peninsula in Silicon Valley and is made of up single family homes and 2-4 unit flats, some of which were build in the late 1800's. I know for some, that's not that old, but here is California, the homes were the very first to be build on the land they sit on.

We have a commercial street, on 24th Street, with shops, restaurants, coffee cafes, stores, banks, bookstores and a Whole Foods grocery store within walking distance, as well as a Saturday farmers market. There is public transportation just a block away that that can take you to the Civic Center for our City Hall as well as concert halls for the Symphony, Jazz and opera. The same line takes you to the cable cars where you can go shopping at Union Square and then on to the Embarcadero for boat trips on San Francisco Bay.
