Do you like sea view?

My apartment is located by the sea on the top floor. You'll be able to watch a fascinating sea view from the kitchen and from the living room. The bedroom faces north, offering a glimpse of tree tops and sky. There's a small sauna in the flat, afterwards you may relax at the balcony or take a swim in the sea, if you're a friend of cold waters like me. In the bedroom, there's a double bed, 140 cm x 200 cm. Please note: there is no second bed, so my home suits best 2 people that share the same bed. There are also blinds at the windows to help you sleep longer during the white nights in summer. The condo is in the 5th floor, and there's a lift (elevator). No TV but a strong wifi.

The area, called Kallahti or Aurinkolahti, is very peaceful, I live at the border of the areas. My condo is located between two small natural parks, Uutela and Kallahdenniemi (Kallahti peninsula or Kallvikinniemi). You can easily walk or ride a bike to the nature parks, enjoy forest walks, have a private barbeque, and swim or sun bath. The metro station is about 1 kilometer from my home. The metro ride to the city center is about 20 min, of course it takes little longer since you have walk to the metro stop or take a mini bus there. So my home is not precisely in the city center, but if you like nature, quiet surroundings and beautiful views, this might be your choice. There's a small shopping center at the metro station and two supermarkets not far from my home. A public swimming pool and a gym are located near the metro station. Some nice cafés are also in a walking distance.

There are two bikes for you, the other one is not that good, so I have listed only one. My small manual car is also available if you like to take a trip to Nuuksio national park or visit Hvitträsk.

All passenger ports are easy to reach if you want to make a day cruise to Tallinn or Stockholm. You can also visit Lapland by train or plane, I strongly recommend that. Finnair and Norwegian offer cheap flights there. Travelling to Lapland by train is a little more expensive than flying but it's an experience too.

During an exchange you can leave your dog or cat to me; it will be in good hands. A well-behaving dog is welcome to my home. I'm sorry, my flat is not equipped for small children.
