Elegant period house in city centre, Dublin 9, Ireland
We are committed for the remainder of 2014 .
We are relatively new to home-exchanging (just one very nice experience) but are much travelled and have rented frequently. We would take great care of anybody's home.
Our house (c. 2000 square feet) was built at the beginning of the 20th century and is elegant and comfortable with plenty of books, music and a piano. It is situated in a very green cul de sac, one half hour's walk from the city centre, very near many excellent bus routes and 20 minutes from Dublin airport, as well as being adjacent to superb north Dublin beaches and Dublin's beautiful Botanic Garden. All cultural facilities of Dublin are readily accessible (National Gallery, Museum Concert Hall and Library, Trinity College, Abbey Theatre, Irish Museum of Modern Art.)
I like animals and am prepared to take care of pets and plants - though we have none of the former.

Our Neighbourhood

We live in a charming cul de sac with a feel of a self-contained urban neighbourhood. The house looks onto a bowling green in front and there is green all around - including a very intensively used football field for children. Our neighbours are kind and friendly. We are five minutes by car from the sea and wonderful Dublin bay and 20 minutes from the fantastic beaches of North Dublin.
