G’day! We’re Elizabeth & Gerry with our 2 boys (13 & 9yo) + 2 guinea pigs (optional). Join us for a visit around our home and neighbourhood, so you can acquaint yourselves with Brisbane’s leafy eastern suburb of Wakerley.

Our low-set home is conveniently situated at 16kms from Brisbane city centre; 6kms from Moreton Bay waterfront (with a marina, restaurants, cafés, nightlife & leisure facilities along its 6kms esplanade); 8kms to Westfield shopping centre; 15kms from Brisbane international & domestic airports; and 1hr away from the Gold or Sunshine coasts; A gentle stroll away from the nearest shops (Woolworths supermarket, chemist, cafés, restaurants). There are also several parks and a pond in the neighbourhood.

Our home offers 3 bedroom / 1 office (master bedroom with a super comfy king with ensuite bathroom; 1 queen & 1 single) there’s also 1 dbl & 1 sgl blow up mattress available; an open-plan lounge / diner / kitchen; a study with fast-speed internet; a main bathroom & separate toilet; laundry room; garage.

The lounge area as well as all bedrooms have split aircon/heated systems; all windows are fitted with security/fly screens.

There is an outdoor entertaining area equipped with a comfortable lounge suite, hammock, Weber and wood fired BBQs, outdoor heater and overhead ceiling fan.

There is also picnic / camping gear available if required.

We have 2 guinea pigs which we can find another temporary home for during your stay - if you would prefer not to look after them.

We'll provide you with all the local tourist information you’ll need, such as public transport options, brochures & maps

If you require a car, we have a Holden Barina (automatic) available. You’ll be able to plan trips further afield to the Gold Coast & its theme parks, the Sunshine Coast & Australia Zoo, or North Stradbroke / Moreton Islands via ferry (from only 20mins away from mainland) to see whales, kangaroos, turtles or dolphins in their natural habitat!
