House in TOURC'H, Brittany, France
We are retired and looking forward to discover lots of places anywhere any time. We live in a house built in 1985 with 3 bedrooms where can live up to 7 persons and we have a 3000 m² garden (we have a gardener who mows the lawn). We have 2 cats, Mis and Max, who will need to be feeded (and caressed a little) during our holidays.
Our village Tourc’h is very small, but all facilities are available in Rosporden (7 km). The nearest large city is Quimper (20 km) and the sea with many beaches is also about 21 km away (Concarneau).
Britanny is a very interesting area with many possibilities (https://www.brittanytourism.com/destinations/departments/finistere/)
The sea of course, but also the wild nature in the center, splendid landscapes (Pointe-du-Raz 70 km), “old stones” (Carnac 95 km), and many old cities (Quimper, Vannes…). Pont-Aven, the village where lived the painter Gauguin is about 20 km from here.
Airports in Brest-Guipavas (90 km) connecting Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle. Railway in Rosporden (7 km) connecting Paris-Montparnasse en 4 1/2 hours (TGV).
