A traditional Tiree croft house a stones throw from the sea.
Our home is situated in an idyllic seaside location on the beautiful Isle of Tiree. There are only 600 inhabitants on this small Scottish island however it's white sand beaches, wildlife and water sports make it an ideal place for families, water-sport enthusiasts, bird watchers or anyone looking for peace and tranquility. Our home is a traditional tiree house that has been lovingly renovated last year, it's just 15 meters from a beautiful sandy beach with views of the isle of Mull Jura.

We live in Balemartine which has a few homes and everybody is very friendly. Front doors are left open and keys in the cars-it's very safe! There are a couple of small cafés and pubs on the island a short drive away. There is a beach in front of our garden with our own pathway down and there are beautiful spots all within walking distance which are great for spotting wildlife and water sports.

Lifestyle
We live a very outdoorsy lifestyle here in tiree. The house is right on the beach and we get out either surfing, kayaking or stand up paddle boarding most days, the use of all the boards etc comes with the exchange. During the summer months the island also has its own small music festival, Island games and a nice wee 'show' where locals and visitors compete for best fruit and veg amongst loads of other fun and interesting stuff! It's abit less outdoorsy in the middle of winter where more days are spent sitting in front of the open fire and warming up after wet windy walks along the beach. This website gives a great overview of the island:
