Flat in Certignano - Castelfranco di Sopra, Italy

Our home is situated between Florence (37 km) and Arezzo (38 km), near the Chianti area (15 km) and Siena (60 km), all easy to visit travelling by car or by train. Certignano is a little historical village at 300 mt of altitude, on typical Tuscany hills, very near (2 km) the town of Castelfranco di Sopra, considered, by the italian culture Boureau, one of the one hundred most beautiful ancient village in the whole Italy.
The home is 75 mq, placed at the first floor of an ancient building. It's not luxurious but very comfortable and easy to use, with all the essentials equipments. The little village is very quiet; the inhabitants and the neighbours are friendly. At 500 mt from the home, there are the "Balze valdarnesi", suggestive landscapes of rocks, nature reserve at the limit of an ancient lake, that took up the Arno Valley four millions of years ago. Across these hills, the "Seven Bridges Road" (an ancient Etruscan and then Roman historical road, called "Cassia Vetus") crosses many historical towns full of artistic attractives (churches, monuments, wonderful landscapes...), until Arezzo and Florence. Above the hills, the mountain of Pratomagno (1.650 mt of altitude) overlooks the populous Valdarno, and the Casentino area, where it's possible to visit many places with Dante's life memories.
