We have made arrangements for the summer 2019 but we are interested in weekend exchange during autumn and spring 2019-2020

Villa Björnlunda, Södermanland, Sweden

Our villa is situated in the village Björnlunda, in Södermanland county, about one hour south of Stockholm. Södermanland is well known for its beautiful farming landscape with rounded hills, and many historical castles and mansions.
Our house was built in 1914 by David Fingal, a local butcher, and his butchey was located in our outbuilding.
The house has 4 bedrooms with 8 beds, 2 bathrooms and a jacuzzi.
The garden is big, has many apple trees and a playhouse for the children.
We also have a 2 bedroom apartment with four beds in the city (Solna, next door suburb to Stockholm) that can be used for exchange.

Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Stockholm Skavsta - 50 km

Södermanland county is a stunningly beautiful farming area where a lot of the Swedish history has its roots. Many royal castles and noble mansions can be visited, as well as the traditionally red wooden farming houses.
Close to our house you can visit the Gripsholm castle, founded by the king Gustav Vasa around 1550. The Royal collection of portraits is at permanet display at the castle.
Many small lakes, as well as the sea by Nyköping or Trosa, welcome the swimmer.
If you are looking for more city pulse the car, as well as the train from nearby Gnesta, will take you to Stockholm center within one hour.
