Modern, comfortable family home in West of Ireland
Our modern and comfortable four bedroom, family home is situated in Ennis town - billed as the friendliest town in Ireland! Ennis (c. 12,000 inhabitants) is the main town in Co Clare, home of Irish traditional music and superb hurlers (traditional, gaelic sports game!). Ennis, which is a vibrant, colourful town, acts as a gateway to many of Ireland's finest natural attractions - Cliffs of Moher (30 mins); the Burren (20 mins) and vibrant coastal towns - Kilkee and Lahinch (famous for its world class surfing!). It's an ideal base for those who like the outdoors and indeed those who want to explore further afield - Galway (1 hour); Connemara (2 hours); easy access to Dublin, Cork and Kerry. Shannon International Airport just 20 mins drive. Our home is ideally set up for a family with young children in particular, with the neighbourhood being also a very safe and friendly place to mix and meet a wide range of locals.

About the neighborhood
We live in a small, very safe and quiet housing estate with an abundance of friendly neighbours. The area is ideal for children, in particular, with a big green area in the estate where the kids organise daily sports games in the summer. We are located within c. 20 mins walking distance of Ennis town

We are an Irish family - Mum, Dad (both senior professionals) and two boys who will be 15 and 13 in summer 2025. We are very sociable, love the outdoors and love to travel, in particular. We have undertaken four house exchanges with Intervac previously and have lived in central Europe for the past four years (recently returned to Dublin). Mum (Emer) partook in many house exchanges (10+) as a child with her own famiily.
