House in Terrassa, Spain
Home in Terrassa, close to Barcelona, Spain. This is a comfortable house in the centre of the city of Terrassa. There are 2 double rooms and a single room and two bathrooms.
There is a nice yard at the back of the house.
My house is near a small park (parc de sant jordi). You can find another bigger park in Terrassa (parc de Vallparadís)
My house is conveniently situated close to the FGC railway station (8 minutes on foot) that can take you right to the centre of Barcelona in 45 minutes. Much better and comfortable than travel by car to Barcelona.

About the neighborhood
I live in the city centre, so there are a lot of services around. Supermarkets, the main market, lots of shops and public transport (buses and train station).
Terrassa used to be an industrial town and it is full of all factories that have been transformed into museums (MNACTEC Museu de la Ciència i la Tècnica) or even a school. The chimneys have been kept as a memory of this industrial past.
We also have a natural park nearby, called Parc Natural de Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac. With many spaces to go for walks.

Our home is quite big because there were 5 of us. I am now living alone because my husband died and my children are adults and they all live abroad (Finland, UK and Colombia) I used to be a language teacher and now I am happily retired.
We did several exchanges with our kids and I expect to start again on my own.
