About the neighborhood
Set in Cork Harbour, near to the sea with a beautiful cathedral and strong links to the famous Titanic and history of immigration from Ireland. Historical connections to the sinking of the Lusitania. A twenty minute train ride to Cork City, a university town with the wonderful old English Market providing fresh fish and produce. En route is the extraordinary Fota Wildlife Park (two train stops away) which is set on an island in the harbour, adjacent to the historical Fota House with its amazing arboretum, great walks and close to Fota Golf Club, once the site of the Irish Open Tournament.

I am the grandmother, still working as a psychotherapist who sometimes travels with family or friends. Having been born in South Africa, and spent the first half of my life there, I am delighted to visit and experience other cultures. Along with my family members I love the great outdoors.
