Welcome to our cozy row house (radhus) in peaceful Bara! Our home features a lovely glassed-in terrace (inglasat uterum) leading to a small, private garden—the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.
We are located in a very safe, pedestrian-friendly area with beautiful walking and biking paths right outside the door. You can easily walk to the Torup Castle (Torups slott) and its gorgeous surrounding beech forest, which features fantastic nature trails, a great playground, and a cozy café.
It’s the perfect, quiet Scandinavian base: peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet only 15 minutes from Malmö by car and an easy trip across the bridge to Copenhagen!

Our neighborhood in Bara is incredibly quiet, safe, and family-friendly. It is a zone with paved walking and bicycle paths linking everything together, making it very safe for children to run around and explore.
Right on our doorstep:
Walking & Hiking: There are endless scenic paths right outside our door. You can easily walk or bike to the beautiful beech forests of the Torup Nature Reserve.
Torup Castle: A short walk or bike ride away is the Torup Castle, which features gorgeous public gardens and a cozy café.
Convenience: A local supermarket and public transport are all within easy walking distance.
The perfect base for exploring:
If you want to explore the region, we are just a 15-minute drive (or quick bus ride) to the vibrant city of Malmö, and only 35 minutes across the bridge to Copenhagen.
