Nice house in the northwest of Switzerland, near Basel, right to Germany's border and the blackforest. 90 min. by car to the Swiss Alps /gemütliches Haus im Nordwesten der Schweiz, Nähe Basel und Schwarzwald, 90 Autominuten zu den Schweizer Alpen.

Our home: the thing I like the most, is our fireplace in winter our little garden during summer. We live in a quiet place, surrounded by playgardens for kids, a little shop and a restaurant in walking distance. The bus- and trainstation is about 5 min. walking distance.
Our mediavale little town Rheinfelden is worth a visit or two: Take a stroll along the Marktgasse with it's little shops, cafes, bars: www.rheinfelden.ch; enjoy also a visit in the relaxing spa (sole uno) http://www.parkresort.ch/de/sole-uno/ . If you're interested in history; the romans lived here as well...! http://www.augustaraurica.ch/ - there are many interesting sites of ruins and remainings you can explore.
Why not visit Basel, the beautiful mediavale city with its famous museums and beautiful mediavale buildings. I'ts only a 15 min. trainride to go there (or enjoy a river cruise by ship down the river Rhine). Also the Swiss alps are not far away; it takes you only a 90 min. drive by car (of course you can also get there by train!). To visit the blackforest: 60 min. drive. Trains: Also fast trains stop in Rheinfelden (2 direct trains per hour going to Zurich!)

Even when you do not have a car; you can go everywhere by train, bus or bike... You always enjoy an excellent public transport service all over Switzerland .

Man kommt überall hin!

About Our Family

Now your kids are grown up, we two like to travel a litte bit more. We enjoy the nature, small-medium Citys, hiking and so on.
