Victorian House in Brighton, Close to London, Great Britain.

Brighton is a fantastic university city in the south east of England.
Our home is a 3 storey Victorian Terraced house built in 1896 and renovated in 2000. It is in the popular Fiveways “conservation area" with lots of shops and cafes. Our house is on 3 floors and has 2 double bedrooms with a super king and double mattresses and a single bedded room. We have converted another bedroom into a study/computer room and there are 2 bathrooms and a downstairs utility room with toilet. We added a dining room 2 years ago which has bifold doors on 2 sides and extended the kitchen to a larger open space 2 years ago. When the weather is warm the whole room can be opened up. Our house has all modern amenities with a log burning stove and stripped wooden floors. We have a 4 seat car available for use. We have lots of family and friends on hand close by if needed.  Our house is very close to a large park and 20 minutes walk from the centre of Brighton. There is a bus stop outside our house. We are 25 miles from Gatwick Airport and about 2 hours from Heathrow Airport. Central London can be reached by train in 45 minutes.
We are an open minded couple who love to explore new places. We have completed 15 home exchanges to date.

Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: London Gatwick -

Brighton is one of England's popular cities on the south coast, 50 miles south of London, which is 45 minutes away by train. Brighton has plenty to offer: its beautiful Regency architecture and its famous Royal Pavilion, lots of trendy restaurants, cafes and shopping areas. Brighton is often referred to as alternative and bohemian. Some people call it London by the sea but it has the advantage of being surrounded by some beautiful, classic English countryside.
It is a great place to come and learn English as there are a wide variety of English courses available. There are 2 universities here and the city has lots to offer people of all ages.
