Termine di Monteggio : located in the Italian part of Switzerland, between Lake Lugano (CH) and Lake Maggiore (I)
We have 5 adults children , but none is living with us anymore. We have a big home in the village unit. Termine is across Switzerland and Italy. You can choose to swim in Lago Maggiore or Lago di Lugano ! Have a Italian ice cream or visit a chocolate's factory !
We have a little garden, because we live surrounded by woods . If you like mountains you can have beautiful walking/trekking, Ticino is the birthplace of famous architects ( Borromini, Botta, Galfetti,..) and Milano is 1 hour by car. In summer you can swim in Lago Maggiore , only 10 minutes from home.

Excellent exchange. Paul and Cristina were friendly and helpful before and during the exchange. We video called twice before travelling which was lovely. Their home is in a beautiful and peaceful area of Switzerland near some stunning lakeside towns. The house is large and comfortable with everything we could possibly need. We spent many evenings on the patio enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding countryside. We were given a lot of helpful tips, especially about visiting Milan on the train, ensuring all went smoothly on an unforgettable trip to see La Scala,” The Last Supper” and Duomo. Excellent contact avec Cristina et Paul qui m'ont non seulement donné l'hospitalité dans leur magnifique maison mais qui m'ont également donné des conseils très utiles à distance pour organiser mes excursions cet été. La région du Tessin est absolument superbe et le village de Termine est très bien situé pour profiter à la fois des environs du lac Majeur et du lac de Lugano.
L'échange a été parfait, aussi bien à l'arrivée chez eux qu'à notre retour chez nous.
